So these are generic Chevy Malibu hubcaps. They look just like the Chevy ones but they're missing the chevy center cap emblem. I bought these for my grey 2007 saturn aura (which is the same car as the malibu just with different body panels). The original hubcaps on my saturn were painted silver and were all cracked, chipped, and ugly. These new hubcaps spruced the car right up! These really added a nice flair to the car. I received these rims much sooner than I thought. I have only owned them for a week, but I must say, the minute I took them out the, extremely, well packaged box, I was blown away - my friend was very jealous - the quality is exceptional, I must say, the entire rim is extremely well built, the feel the look is much more than I anticipated. The guys who installed them for me at the tire depot were asking me where I got these cool rims from, for they also sell rims and haven't seen anything like it - and this was the main reason I bought these rims; I wanted to be unique - I think chrome rims are overkill and SUV's need that offroad, beefy look; I wanted something that pops, yet subtle, something that looks mean and beefy on my Toyota 4runner, but not too aggressive and overbearing - I got exactly what I wanted, I get stares everywhere I roll with my new rims and everyone wants to know where I go these from. The wheels are awesome, of course, which is why I bought them. Surprisingly, they arrived several days in advance of when Amazon said they would get here. I have opened all the boxes and inspected them. They were packaged very well, and I don't see any scuffs or imperfections, which was one of my main concerns when ordering online. It's just what I ordered and I am extremely happy. I shopped around for weeks trying to find the best price, since I'm such a cheap-skate! These were by far the best price I could find. I only spent $490 with free shipping. I have not yet installed these on my pickup (2006 Titan SE), but I checked them for fit and they are good to go. The last thing I'm trying to sort out is the lug nuts. They use the acorn, or conic, style of lug nuts (don't know if it's supposed to be a "bulge seat" or not, but I don't think so) but the hole in the wheel is small, so a standard lug nut wrench is a tight fit in the hole. How It Works
The #29-1608 utilizes a 2-piece wheel simulator design: the Wheel Liner plus the Center Cap. The wheel covers are fastened to the OEM wheels using the OEM lug nuts. Begin by removing 2 corresponding OEM lug nuts, and slide the wheel simulator over the remaining lug nuts, making sure the wheel simulator is lined up with the OEM wheel vent holes. Then you install the 2 OEM lug nuts, securely fastening the Wheel Liner to the wheel. When installing the Center Caps, fasten the center cap to the screw posts on our wheel simulators using the supplied stainless steel screws.
