Great inexpensive for use with Honda Entertainment systems
I have a 2009 Honda Pilot and 3 kids and the Honda's DVD Entertainment system only comes with 2 headsets. Hondas headsets are about $40-$50 each and since I don't think any headset will last with my kids, I decided to try XO Vision. These headphones work with the DVD system, sound pretty good, fit head sizes both large and small at a fraction of the Honda OEM headset price. I decided to get two pairs as back up or to entertain others. For the price of under $20 you can't go wrong.

XO has lots of love for my SUV!
To purchase the headsets from GM are currently around $80 a piece. I just purchased 4 for under that amount total! It does not get much better than that!I just purchased a used GMC Yukon XL with the integrated DVD (Panasonic) and needed to get headsets and the remote ... these worked without a glitch! One comment though to keep in mind is that these are single channel IR headsets. For example, my SUV supports two channels, one for the DVD, and one for the radio. Therefore, with a two channel headset, one could swap between the DVD and the radio/CD if one wanted. Due to the fact that these are only single channel, all I get is the DVD. However, my goal was to have the kids watch their DVD while I listen to the radio, so this is all that I needed.I am not an audiophile, but they sounded fine enough to me. There was no buzz or hiss and felt comfortable enough. Lets put it this way ... the kids do not complain and stay quiet ... that is good...

Replacement Keyless Entry Remote Fob
Our keyless entry fob broke, internal solder broke loose. I purchased a keyless entry remote fob from Amazon, at a fraction of the cost from a Chevrolet dealership. The dealership programed it for me, at no cost. I saved a lot of money by using Amazon. The replacement fob works as good or better than the original.

huge savings over dealer prices
I had 2 key fobs for my 2007 Chevy HHR that just wore out. I went to one dealer and they wanted $100 for a fob and $40 to program it. Looked on Amazon and found Discount Keyless. Ordered 2 fobs for $39 each. I had to go back to a different deler to get the fobs programmed. You cannot program the fobs yourself. This dealer only charged me $25 total for programmimng 2 fobs and they work perfect. so I figure I saved about $177 going this route. You have to be careful to make sure you are ordering the exact correct fob, as there are a lot of different fobs out there, but mine matched and work perfect. Very happy with the product and the seller.

came on time
This item was received on time, but I never got to use it since I found the one I thought I lost. GM requires the second key to install it, which is nutty since people buy these because they probably lost the second key.

Key FOB
I appreciated the good service and experience working with Discount Keyless. However, the high cost to have a FOB programmed at a local Automotive Key Specialist became an issue. Two specialist wanted $120 and $85 as a starting point and this was more than I was willing to spend for this service. Discount Keyless was good about initially helping me go through the programming steps to make sure I had followed each detail and said they would accept the return under these circumstances.

Chevrolet Battery

An explosion of a prototype battery at a General Motors test facility in Warren, Michigan on Wednesday is "unrelated to the Chevrolet Volt or any other production vehicle," said GM in a statement. The explosion took place in one of the laboratories at the Alternative Energy Center at the General Motors Technical Center here about 8:45 a. m. "Chemical gases from the battery cells were released and ignited in the enclosed chamber. The Detroit automaker said that the "incident was related to extreme testing on a prototype battery. The battery itself was intact," GM said in a statement. An investigation by federal safety regulators into the plug-in hybrid Volt was completed in January after concerns about its battery catching on fire after a crash.

The addition of EV hold mode in the 2013 Volt would allow drivers to manage exactly when they want to engage the electric battery instead of using it by default–like current and past model years do. Prior to the planned addition, Volt drivers only... Similar to the “Halten Mode” found in the Opel Ampera , EV hold mode allows drivers to “hold” off using the electric battery, and conserve it for environments that would make better, more efficient use of it. Because electric cars tend to get... When engaged, Mountain mode recharges the battery at a 45-percent state of charge, while Hold mode would not. While some details remain unknown, the 2013 Chevy Volt is said to be packing a battery saving "hold mode" and advanced safety features.

“They weren’t even testing a Volt battery,” said Chris Perry, vice president of global marketing for Chevrolet, during an appearance at a charity event in Detroit. An explosion at the General Motors battery lab is unlikely to have any impact on the newfound sales momentum of the Chevrolet Volt, contended the brand’s marketing chief. Meanwhile, Chevrolet has announced plans to phase out the Chevrolet Avalanche as it begin the introduction of the new trucks. GM has tried to downplay the incident, noting that the explosion involved an advanced battery that will go into a future product, not the Volt. Chevrolet’s global expansion has hampered Opel’s effort to build sales in emerging markets, particularly in Eastern Europe near Adam Opel AG’s traditional manufacturing base in Germany. However, partisans of the German brand suggest Opel’s way forward has been hampered by GM’s efforts to turn Chevrolet into its lead global brand.   Engineers were running extreme stress tests at the time, hoping to find the limits of the new battery’s chemistry. So far, the headlines have not echoed the breathless coverage that followed the original Volt battery fires.

GM’s lithium-ion battery safety came under question last year when the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the US launched an investigation into the Chevrolet Volt after a vehicle it crash-tested in May developed a coolant leak and... General Motors says a battery explosion at one of its US research labs that seriously injured one employee and left four others needing medical attention is unrelated to the Chevrolet Volt or any other production vehicle. The battery in question was reportedly built by A123 Systems, the Massachusetts-based manufacturer contracted to supply lithium-ion batteries for the Chevrolet Spark EV that goes on sale next year.
