Bulldog KE1702 - clean, simple, exactly what I was looking for
The 95 Accord I recently purchased had standard power locks. However, the driver's door had been tampered with to the point that the cylinder was totally disconnected from the lock, forcing me to have to go around and unlock from the passenger's side every time. Needless to say, this was quite annoying. After considering trying to fix the mechanical parts, I stumbled across this unit and figured it would be a cheap, practical way to bypass the problem entirely while adding more overall convenience to the vehicle. Amazon delivered it promptly as always, and it was exactly as described and pictured. I chose to install only the basic lock/unlock functionality as I have no need for light flash, starter kill, etc. So far the unit performs perfectly in this capacity. Range is at least 25-30 feet, even without the antenna wire installed in a straight line as they suggest. The remotes seem to be high quality: the buttons are soft but firm rubber, and the case has a rubberized feel and a tiny...

Easy to install, good range
The unit was easy to test and install and has a range of about 100 feet.For basic testing, temporarily connect the power and ground wires and listen to internal relay clicks while pressing lock and unlock buttons on one of the remotes.To get a good range, it is important to place the antenna wire as close as possible to the top surface of the dashboard so that there is no or little metal between the antenna and the dashboard plastic.The package includes a relay for "starter kill". If you do not need that function, you can use the relay to take advantage of other capabilities that require a separately purchased relay (e.g., parking light lock/unlock confirmation).The instructions in the documentation for pairing the second remote are apparently outdated. Here is a modified version that worked for me. Press and hold the "lock" button on an already paired remote for about 10 seconds until you hear an internal relay click inside the unit...

A breeze to install...
Very cheap, easy to install keyless entry. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars it that out of the box, the range was horrible (10-15ft.) Not sure if this is a problem with old batteries, or if it just has poor range.Update: The unit has now ceased to work at all. Still getting good power and ground, but unit refuses to operate. Dissapointing since I haven't had it very long.

power door lock actuator
Cheap and easy replacement for aftermarket power door lock conversions. After 6 years my initial actuators wore out and I got one of these to replace it. Works perfect, easy to install with the included bracket. Only downside is that the wires were shorter than my original so I had to splice in some extra wire to hook it up. Not a big problem but longer wires would have been nicer. Also make sure you wire them the right way, otherwise you will be unlocking your door when you think you are locking it. With only two wires, you have a 50% chance of guessing right the first time.I now need to replace the other door's actuator 6 months later, should have just ordered two at the same time.

huge savings over dealer prices
I had 2 key fobs for my 2007 Chevy HHR that just wore out. I went to one dealer and they wanted $100 for a fob and $40 to program it. Looked on Amazon and found Discount Keyless. Ordered 2 fobs for $39 each. I had to go back to a different deler to get the fobs programmed. You cannot program the fobs yourself. This dealer only charged me $25 total for programmimng 2 fobs and they work perfect. so I figure I saved about $177 going this route. You have to be careful to make sure you are ordering the exact correct fob, as there are a lot of different fobs out there, but mine matched and work perfect. Very happy with the product and the seller.

Problem solved
We ordered a new keyless remote and received very promptly. After programming we still had problems with locking and unlocking all doors on our vehicle. Called tech at Discount Keyless and he was extremely helpful and we discovered that it was an issue with a lock actuator in the car dash - not the remote fob. Dave then gave me instructions on how to return the fob and was pleasant and very knowledgeable throughout our experience. Excellent customer service for this transaction and would definitely recommend company.

Beats driving to the auto store.
I purchased this adapter because it seemed to have better compatibility in comparison to some of the other ones(blue & orange) on Amazon. I tested this adapter on a 2001 Lexus IS300 and and 2002 Chevy Tahoe using the Torque lite app via a CM7 HP Touchpad. The adapter easily yet firmly fit into both of the OBD2 ports. After setting up and syncing the devices together it began to display all sorts of useful data such as Engine RPM, Temperature, O2 voltages, Intake G/S, and some other statistics. I'm not sure if it is a limitation of the cars ECU's or the Torque app but some data failed to display (main voltage, mpg, a few others). I never got to read/erase diagnostic codes because one car had the codes wiped out prior to checking and the other vehicle simply wasn't throwing any codes. Overall I think its a pretty good product, because it works, is inexpensive and it beats driving to the parts store.

Problems with bluetooth connection - UPDATED
I received this item in the mail yesterday (very quickly I might add) and immediately connected it to my 2009 Chevy Impala. My phone (Motorola Admiral with Android Gingerbread)paired with the device but would not connect and read any information from scanner. When I got home I tried a 2011 Impala with the same results. Today I tried it again in my 2003 Porsche Boxster with no results. I grabbed my Vizio 8 Tablet with Android Gingerbread tried to sync with the scanner and Porsche combo but it still will not work.I have tried inserting the device, turning the car on, pairing then opening the Torque app in that sequence. No worky.I tried turning on the car, inserting the device, pairing then Torque. Still no worky.One thing to note the device will illuminate the LEDs on the front of the unit from red to yellow to green and back again before staying red. I have contacted the seller and requested support and will update this review...
