Perfect fix
I have a '01 Chevy 2500hd CC with the 8.1l and 185k miles that was very sluggish the more throttle ya gave it. Was also having hard time starting. This pump fixed all that and the truck runs like new again. I actually got the wrong pump, this pump has emissions plug on it my old one didn't. But the pump still works because the plug is only needed to read emissions if you have it. I actually needed FG0271. I'm really happy with the price on this pump compared to others out there. For my 2000 Silverado 5.3...
I literally just finished installing this on to my truck. My origional pump was still running fine after 170k miles. I just wanted to ensure my truck stays that way. Moving across country every four years(next year). Also, my year-model truck is known to have an issue with the fuel gauge jumping all over the place. Well... problem solved. No more "Low Fuel" warning light flashing every few seconds. I read one of the sheets that came with the pump. It stated very clearly that this pump is an Upgrade over the stock pump. There was a large list of improved items. There is a better fuel level sensor in there so my problem should not come back. Also, the different connector is one of the improvements that I suppose some trucks were having problems with.The swap for the actual pump was simple and very easy(5 minutes). There were some good instructions on how to change the connector on the wiring harness. Even gets into detail on how to maintain identical harness... Top to learn more

Innova 3160
I was tired of the cheap OBD readers and wanted something much better. I also wanted something I could read the ABS system with. The Innova 3160 does the trick. It is easy to use and understand. I like the way it prompts you in order to get what you are looking for. It has an excellent screen with the exact information you need to make repairs. It is obvious that they consulted with a repair tech when they designed it. I haven't tried to up-date it from the computer as yet, but it has all the necessary items and information with it to do so. On the down side, it doesn't have an explanation for all the manufacturer codes, especially the ABS codes. I found that I am going to their web site quite often to get the expanation. The web-site is very good and helpful though. I really like it. The worst thing is the CHEAP carrying case. The unit won't even fit into it with the cable attached. That means that you are always removing and replacing the cable. I'm sure that isn't... Top to learn more

Very useful if you have the right vehicles
The 3160 is a very useful tool if you have the right vehicle. It provides generic codes and more from many makes but on European, Korean or Swedish vehicles dont expect much more than the generic codes.I did not research tool enough to realize nearly all of the "adavanced DTC" functions are for Chrysler/Jeep, Ford/Mazda,GM/Isuzu, Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus vehicles only. The sales verbiage DOES explain the limitations of the ABS testing to certain makes/models but DOES NOT provide the information that the tools enchanced DTC functions share the same vehicle limitations.The enchanced functions are described in the owners manual as:"The "enhanced" mode provides the ability to retrieve enhanced DTCs from most Chrysler/Jeep, Ford/Mazda,GM/Isuzu, Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus vehicles. What do cats have to do with code scanners?In my case, cats crawled under the hood of my 2007 Silverado Classic pickup and kept the engine filthy. They also pulled at various wires under the hood. Those two things mean problems for any vehicle, but acutely for my Silverado - as I had to repeatedly wash the filth away the cats left under the hood. The Silverado 4.8 engine for 2007 has knock sensors in the intake valley, and engine washing causes water to damage them by puddling under the intake. With only 6,000 miles in four years, my engine light came on. Turns out the knock sensor problem with water is common. I just wouldn't have had it sans the cats.I went to my local Auto Zone and they kindly used a scan tool to diagnose a problem with the #2 bank knock sensor (rear - low output) code P0332. I asked about the various scanners they had, but none were all that comprehensive and I had no intention of paying thousands for an OBD2 code scanner that would be more... Top to learn more

Traded up from Equus 3100 to 3150
Got my 3100 a while back, and it pretty much paid for itself every time I used it. I was able to repair some inexpensive sensors, and not be at the mercy of the auto dealer or independent mechanics (who seem to be as expensive as the dealers anymore). When I started having ABS problems, the 3100 could not read ABS codes. So I sold it to my brother and upgraded to the 3150. He has only foreign cars, so there is no inexpensive code reader (as far as I have been able to figure out) that could read his ABS.I'm also really happy with the 3150. Reads and clears ABS codes on many GM, Ford, and Chrysler cars. I have a 2002 Chevy and a 1997 Ford, and it will work on both. Be sure to check the list at the manufacturer's web site for your specific vehicle before purchasing. 3150 has already paid for itself also. Dealer wants $99 just to read a code. And if you know what the problem is up front, you can fix yourself, take to the most cost effective repair place, or at least negotiate... Top to learn more

I bought the 3150 to diagnose an emmissions problem on a 97 camry and it worked great for that, however when I went to check on the abs system it stated that it wasn`t supported, reading the information on the box after the fact I realized that the abs diagnostics support very few vehicles and none of mine, 2001 dodge ram, 2009 hyundai sonota, 2001 honda civic.So do your homework before you purchase the 3150 for the abs feature. Great Upgrade
Had this installed for one day. So far, so good. Replaced an Avic 900BT. I like the new menu interface. Flicking & scrolling using the fingers. Mostly used in the Ipod, FM/AM, XM screens.The navigation screen may take some getting used to. The maps don't look as sharp. Seems a wee bit fuzzy around the edges of objects on the map whether in 2D or 3D mood.You will need the current Ipod (new) cable to get this unit to work with your Ipod. Also it's now using a micro SD card. The sound quality is an improvement. Imaging is sharper/cleaner. I do feel that the manufacturer skimped about 64MB on the RAM. With these newer units going back about 3-4 years they're beginning to behave more like a computer (what with boot-up times & being able to update firmware/wallpaper via SD card) so when they skimp on the RAM it really affects the overall minute to minute usability of the unit. Thankfully with this unit you don't notice it as much but a bit more memory... Top to learn more

Playlists are stored on your iPod or iPhone and accessed through the AVIC-X920BT's MusicSphere interface.
Navigation at Its Best The AVIC-X920BT offers a comprehensive map database from Tele Atlas, covering the entire United States and Canada, enabling users to route to millions of destinations, including more than 12 million points of interest (POIs). Additionally, the unit features enhanced voice recognition, including the capability to input destination addresses by voice--you can simply input an address by voice or find a place to re-fuel by saying, "Find the nearest gas station" or "Find the nearest McDonalds," and so on.
ECO Features For consumers, the system also features the second generation ECO Driving function with new features that provide driving status reports and the driver's impact on the environment with visual images on-screen. Through Pioneer's proprietary AVIC FEEDS PC software, the unit can estimate the fuel cost of trip routes as well as the vehicle's CO2 emissions through detailed Drive Reports. Through a proprietary fuel consumption algorithm, AVIC FEEDS can also log and archive driving data and analyze driving habits to generate various reports with suggestions to improve fuel efficiency.
ECO Graph New to this generation of eco-conscious features, the ECO Graph feature provides a view in addition to 2D and 3D, which divides the map view screen with a new graph to provide drivers with a visual representation of their environmental impact. Additionally, when a route is set, the unit will calculate a Drive Score based on driving efficiency, which factors abrupt stops, accelerations, and idle time.
