Great buy if the price is right
I bought this to replace the original TPS on my 94 Chevy K1500. I did some searching around and at the time I bought this one as it was cheaper than some after market sensor makers (just under twenty). All I can say is that this one works great and should last a very long time, plus being made from GM/AC Delco you know its going to work. I try to buy AC Delco as much as I can!

P0446 Error Code Fix
I purchased this ACDelco Evaporative Emission Canister Solenoid because I was receiving the P0446 & P0449 trouble code's on my 2007 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab. I travel down dusty roads alot and these Chevy's have this canister located right where dust gets sucked right in. It then clogs the mechanism in the sensor and triggers the engine light. This 20 dollar part is the fix. Heat up the existing hose that attaches to this and pull.BTW: Its saying on Amazon and other parts list verification that this doesn't fit 2007 Chevy Silverdo 1500 V8 Crew cab's, but it's exactly what fit and fixed mine so it's confirmed.

Delco 214-2149 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Replacement
I love it when Amazon saves me some money. Thanks to them and the previous comments/reviews about this "problem" canister with the GM products.I generally don't like just throwing parts at a problem without correct diagnosis first. After inquiring with the dealer and finding that checking out the system with the smoke test would be near $100 not counting any repair or needed parts. Since I experienced no runability issues I wasn't "that" concerned.After reading the common causes of throwing the PO449 and PO455 codes (on my 2006 GMC Sierra SLE 5.3L V8) was this vapor canister (I ruled out the gas cap issue) and seeing the reasonable Amazon cost I decided to give it a try. So I ordered the Delco 214-2149 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid.Like others, I noticed that NONE of the part listings indicate that this was the correct part for my truck. The new focus is on true zero-emission vehicles, like Leaf, though Honda’s FCX fuel cell vehicle and the CNG-powered Civic will also maintain access.
