it works good
Have ran about a 1000 miles since getting it. Intalled in a 07 nissan xterra. Was very easy to install just had to go to the auto parts store and get a add a fuse link. The unit has taken me from 14 miles a gallon up to 18-17 miles per gallon. I've also noticed that the truck has more snort snd get up and go, fixed a slight hesitation in acceleration.So I like it and recommend it to anybody wanting to get more power or gas milage.would have rated it 5 stars but the display is a little to small, and I fell they should have given the add a fuse with the unit.

A sure improvement over stock! Bully Dog 40410 Guage/Tuner
I ordered this Item to install in my 09 Chevy Silverado 5.8. After I lifted it and put aftermarket oversized tires and wheels it obviously had reduced performance. But worse off it had a major reduction in fuel economy!!!! It went from about 16.5 average HWY/CITY down to 12.5. Yikes, with todays fuel prices. I started with a cold air intake that gave me a good boost in power but only about 1 more mpg. Then I put dual catbacks for the exhaust wich made the truck sound great and added a very small power boost but no notice of better fuel economy. I have a lot into this truck and plan on keeping it for a while so I was on always on the hunt for better fuel mileage. I decided to try the Bully Dog 40410 GT Gas Guage Tuner. It was supposed to be for the most part a power performance addition product. But what I noticed more than that is it boosted my fuel economy right back up to stock before wheels and tires!!! I've had the Bully Dog hooked up for about a week and a half now running on the regular tune setting. The setup was a little funny at first. I updated the software as it strongly suggests, which I think initiated the setup wizard. So when I installed it on my truck, I had to manually initialize the setup. No real big deal, but does take a couple minutes. For my '02 Sierra 1500 5.3L, there are a couple fuses you have to pull when you reprogram (so you have to do this if you want to change any settings or program lvl's). The little ATM fuses are kind of a pain to remove, but not terrible. I used a Buss fuse tap (that I ordered when I ordered the Bully Dog unit), and it made it a lot easier to install the remote power line.As far as performance goes, I definitely noticed a quicker throttle response and a little better acceleration. Again, I only have it on the regular tune, and haven't tried the performance tune. Not sure I want to spend the $4.25 a gal for premium gas at the...

Fit my Trailblazer...but didn't fix my fuel gauge problem.
I bought these to fix a faulty fuel gauge in my 2005 Trailblazer, they are a perfect replacement for the factory originals. Unfortunately my fuel gauge problems were caused by a bad sending unit not the stepper motor. At least I feel good knowing that all 6 of my steppers are now brand new. These arrived in a padded envolope, probably should have been shipped in a box, luckily all of the pins were straight and they all worked fine.

f-350 tuner
I bought this and put it on my mostly stock 06' f-350. The change in power is day and night. the truck doesn't have much lag anymore, better fuel mileage, and it lets you moniter everything (except exhust temp without a probe kit) I wouldn't recommend putting this into a stock truck and running it on a extreme and using a lot of throttle, the 6.0 can't handle it... But for fuel mileage and some more power it works wonderfully.

gooder than hell
I bought this after owning my truck for 3 months and boy did it make it come to life! Easy to install easy to mount. I liked this bullydog but no longer have it due to some thives that stole my truck! If you get one you better have a kill switch on truck and take it out everynight!

Lots of things to like, with some compromises
This had all the features we were looking for -- Bluetooth connectivity without a separate microphone to install, detachable faceplate, DVD support, SD support, USB and external audio input on the faceplate. I also appreciate the dial volume knob, and that many of the controls have hard buttons as well as touchscreen equivalents.The sound is much better than our factory-installed stereo (in a Kia Sedona) -- richer sound, deeper bass, but not distracting or distorting (all with the factory-installed speakers). The tuner has slightly more static than our old stereo off the same antenna, but the difference isn't great.The touchscreen excels on the tuner setting -- a nice display that shows time, radio station, and your current preset settings (each preset shows the frequency associated with it). Well, going into this purchase I knew you would get what you pay for... I wasn't expecting much! All the features I wanted were there, so I figured somewhere there had to be some corners cut. All I can say is that I am satisfied with the purchase. The GUI is useable and wasn't as dumb as I thought it would be. For instance, when you hang up the bluetooth, or switch the unit back on, it will remember which song you were on. I was a little nervous that all the features wouldn't perform well - but they do. The sound quality is a little better than expected (better than my part-out OEM Bose head unit) which makes me glad I didn't go with a no-name brand. The radio, cd player, and bluetooth screens are plain but not badly designed. The SD/USB mode however is straight ugly, looks like a 80s DOS program's attempt at iTunes, but it gets the job done. Worth every penny
I bought this product even though there were few reviews available online. I was actually not looking for a DVD player, but this was the cheapest double-DIN receiver I could find with Bluetooth. All the other features work as advertised. I have used everything short of a USB drive and streaming media from my phone (due to my phone not supporting that feature.) I have a 4 GB SD card that I have used on several occasions and it works just like it says. While I love the receiver, there are a few things you should know ahead of time, and I will list a couple of tricks that may make it more enjoyable. First off, it takes a while to load up a CD (or the SD card). When the CD is playing, the BOSS splash screen is up and all that you see is the track number and the elapsed time for that track. No clock, etc. When the SD card is playing, you get a screen that shows the directory on the left, and the files in the currently selected folder on the right. The font is kind of small, so...

Great Price! Good Product!
This headunit is a great value. It does everything it says. For the price you can't beat it. When I first ordered it I was kinda nervous; My biggest concern was picture quality. I expected it to be very pixeled because of the low price and lower name brand. But the picture is great! The only thing that this unit doesn't have that higher end units do is GPS. But you can purchase an upgraded model that does. I don't need it since I have GPS in my Droid-x. The installation was a breeze. For anyone with any experience, it was very self explanatory. The manual is horrible as others said because it is translated from another language but all the wires are very clearly marked. There is a safety feature on this unit so that you can't watch video while driving. I thought it defeated the purpose of buying this unit; since I wanted video for my pasengers to watch while I drive. But don't worry it is VERY easy to bypass. All you must do is connect the pink "parking brake" wire to ANY ground on...

Basically Pyle is one of your respected "Brand-X" manufacturers.Compared to all the baseline models having these features, you're getting the same exact features and quality the major commercial name brands give you for $100+ more.Good touch screen, good EQ options with a super bass mode and loudness control. More than ample ins and outs on the rear deck. Plenty of power but obviously outboard amps are a necessity these days. Great radio reception, I grab all my favorite city based radio stations just about anywhere I go which is from up to 50+ miles away. Remote has plenty of interface controls. Disc loading is fast, aux, USB/SD reading is instant and plays Divx the same it would off disc.All your settings menus are incredibly thorough as well, lots of options to suit any of your needs.My only complaint is to put the SD card in, you have to pop the face place off. well the flywheel teeth look good all the way around it, and the solenoid was held on by one bolt with no nuts on it. with two new bolts and nuts securing it, it started a couple times just fine without grinding then grinded once and gave up. i... Doing this tripped the theft light (flashing), and I completed the re-learn procedure, which returned the car to it's prior no-start state (solid theft light, no other gauges turning on, crank but no fire. There is a half tank of fuel in it, although the fuel gauge on the cluster does not "wake up" in any key position. Key turned to the AC or ON position and on the cluster the only things that illuminate are the odometer and the theft light (which comes on solid and does not flash. ) I have since removed the resistor and wired the ignition switch back to its original configuration and re-learned it again back to its original state. ) If i attempt to start it, then leave the key in the ON position, the theft light eventually goes out.
