A '55 Chevrolet Bel Air Coupe to fulfill dream
Back in 1977 I'd purchased Revell's '55 Bel Air 2 door hardtop coupe.It had opening doors and trunk along with the mandatory hood,making it a bear to assemble but succeding in getting it all together.I kept it all original since there were no other similar ones for bashing,and the detail was outstanding.It was painted Candy Apple Red,mocking the '55 sedan on the movie"Pom-Pom Girls".Even though this new one does'nt have the opening doors and trunk,the detail surpasses the old one in proportion correctness that the new computer assisted die tooling has.I love the new tooling models,they're as beautiful as the real ones!
