Great product
One of the best products that I have had. For the price I thought I was going to get a used part,but it is new definitly recommend for anybody having a problem with there control panel. Do not look for them on ebay they are more expensive and really used.

Best Deal Ever!
I needed this part for my truck's a/c system, when I went to dealership parts department (to verify the part number that would work on my truck), they wanted to charge me $246.95 for it. CHEVY SILVERADO HEATER CONTROL
Ordered part, was delivered in two days. It cost $106.00 on Amazon. Local dealer wanted $278.20. It's no wonder they are going bankrupt, first they want an additional $172 above the Amazon price, then they insult you by telling you it is one hour labor ($90)to install. QUALITY CONTROL HEAD
MY OLD CONTROL HEAD HAD BURNT OUT BULBS AND THE KNOBS WERE LOOSE.THIS IS A UPDATED PART AND IT WORKS BETTER THAN THE OLD ONE DID.THE BIGGEST THING IS THAT THE A/C BUTTON ICON WORKS CORRECTLY BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL ONE HAD A FACTORY FLAW WHERE THE ICON WAS BACKWARDS,IN OTHER WORDS THE SNOW FLAKE ON THE DISPLAY HAD A SLASH THREW IT ALL THE TIME WHEN THE A/C WAS OFF AND KNOW THE SNOW FLACK ONLY IS ON WHEN THE A/C IS ON.THIS WASN'T THE REASON I REPLACED IT' I REPLACED IT BECAUSE HALF THE BACK LIGHTS DIDN'T ILLUMINATE BUT THEY DO KNOW.THIS IS A PLUG ANS PLAY ITEM THAT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PROGRAMED TO THE VEHICLE WITCH IS A NICE PERK.

ACDelco 15-72956 Heater and Air Conditioner Control Assembly
I purchased this on Amazon for $94.17 with free shipping for my 2004 Chevy Suburban Z71 4WD. My temperature control would constantly fight me when I was trying to set it. If it was cold and I wanted to turn it warmer, say from 70*F to 85*F, as I adjusted the temperature it would turn it back towards a cooler setting. I took my vehicle to the auto shop and they estimated it at $400+ to fix it. They said that GM did not make the part anymore and that they would have to send it in to get it rebuilt. I researched the problem from the mechanic's terminology and using the internet. I had this installed in 15 minutes by taking the dash cover off (you will have to put the gear shifter and steering wheel all the way down, make sure your parking break is on), taking out 4 screws from the control assy, unplugging some cables on the back of the control assy, then installing the new part in reverse order. Anyone can do this, it is very easy and I saved a bunch of money!

much better than expected
I pre-heat my 237/(300) Mack engine with the heater; I power a large circular sawmill with the engine; I set my timer (Lowe's exterior timer; $22.00)depending on night temperature. If it gonna get -20, I have it kick on at midnight; if -30 I plug it in as soon as I shut the mill down (4PM); if 0 to -10 degrees (the usual in winter)I set the timer to kick it on at 3AM. At 16 cents kwh it cost about 25 cents an hour to operate-cheap insurance! Some have had less success than I have had with tank heaters because they didn't follow directions-enough said-follow directions and it will work fine. This thing is the nuts! My big Mack prime mover kicks right of with not even a full turn; before the suggestion to put on this beautiful heater; I had to futz and fart around with salamanders,tarps and all that horsetwaddle, then to start it cold and listen to the 'Mack symphony' for five minutes while she warmed up some (a bone-wrenching noise as deisel damage occurs when started from COLD). Works great
I tapped into the lower radiator hose to feed the unit.Took a bit of plumbing but prolly still much easier then pulling a frost plug or attaching to a coolant drain.I attached the other end to the upper heater core hose.I have a timer hooked up so it turns on 3 hours before I leave for work.If it's gonna be below 0 I set it for 4 hours.The engine turns so much easier and smoother....another great feature is the instant heat.Allready have warm air coming out the defrost where otherwise it would take about 10 minutes to get that warm.This is with a Ford 302 5ltr V-8

Kats 1500 watt block heater
This heater was installed as a replacement unit on a John Deere 3020 diesel tractor. It appears to be made pretty well and came with all the necessary hardware for installation. It has only been used about 6 times but has worked great, so far. Time will tell.
