Best Deal Ever!
I needed this part for my truck's a/c system, when I went to dealership parts department (to verify the part number that would work on my truck), they wanted to charge me $246.95 for it. Got the same part from Amazon for under $100.00. And the part showed up in 3 days, I am very pleased with the product and the service I got from Amazon.

When I started my search for this part, none of the local salvage yards had any available (a common part to go bad on the 95 Chevy Pick-up). The local Chevy dealership wanted over $250 for the exact same part. I definately saved some cash ordering here!! I am not a mechanic by any means, however installation was a snap! Heater Control Review
This unit was slightly different looking internally than the unit that came out of my 1995 GMC truck. I guess there had been an engineering change. It fit perfectly in the dash. The The faceplate and controls look the same. The part functions the same as the OEM part. I am pleased with the unit.

CHEVY SILVERADO HEATER CONTROL
Ordered part, was delivered in two days. It cost $106.00 on Amazon. Local dealer wanted $278.20. It's no wonder they are going bankrupt, first they want an additional $172 above the Amazon price, then they insult you by telling you it is one hour labor ($90)to install. It took less than 5 minutes to install. DEALER PART AND LABOR $374.50 **** AMAZON 106.00 :)**** (DIRECT TO YOUR DOOR.)

Plug and Play easy
I bought this heater control for my wife's 2004 Tahoe. It couldn't have been easier to swap this one in for the old one that came with the car. Installation required pulling the dash cover off which is very easy to do. It's only held on with simple clips so it's just a matter of grabbing hold of the cover (it's the large plastic piece that surrounds the instrument cluster, radio and climate controls) and giving a firm tug. It's kind of like pulling a very snug tupperware lid off a container, start in one corner and work your way around till it's off. You will have to tip the steering wheel down as far as it will go and put the car in 1st gear to get the gear shift out of the way and then you'll be able to get the dash cover off the dash. Actually changing the climate control panel requires removal of two 7mm hex head screws. The controls will come free of the dash at that point and then you will need to disconnect two wire-harness connectors off the back of the control unit...

QUALITY CONTROL HEAD
MY OLD CONTROL HEAD HAD BURNT OUT BULBS AND THE KNOBS WERE LOOSE.THIS IS A UPDATED PART AND IT WORKS BETTER THAN THE OLD ONE DID.THE BIGGEST THING IS THAT THE A/C BUTTON ICON WORKS CORRECTLY BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL ONE HAD A FACTORY FLAW WHERE THE ICON WAS BACKWARDS,IN OTHER WORDS THE SNOW FLAKE ON THE DISPLAY HAD A SLASH THREW IT ALL THE TIME WHEN THE A/C WAS OFF AND KNOW THE SNOW FLACK ONLY IS ON WHEN THE A/C IS ON.THIS WASN'T THE REASON I REPLACED IT' I REPLACED IT BECAUSE HALF THE BACK LIGHTS DIDN'T ILLUMINATE BUT THEY DO KNOW.THIS IS A PLUG ANS PLAY ITEM THAT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PROGRAMED TO THE VEHICLE WITCH IS A NICE PERK.

ACDelco 15-72956 Heater and Air Conditioner Control Assembly
I purchased this on Amazon for $94.17 with free shipping for my 2004 Chevy Suburban Z71 4WD. My temperature control would constantly fight me when I was trying to set it. If it was cold and I wanted to turn it warmer, say from 70*F to 85*F, as I adjusted the temperature it would turn it back towards a cooler setting. I took my vehicle to the auto shop and they estimated it at $400+ to fix it. They said that GM did not make the part anymore and that they would have to send it in to get it rebuilt. I researched the problem from the mechanic's terminology and using the internet. I had this installed in 15 minutes by taking the dash cover off (you will have to put the gear shifter and steering wheel all the way down, make sure your parking break is on), taking out 4 screws from the control assy, unplugging some cables on the back of the control assy, then installing the new part in reverse order. Anyone can do this, it is very easy and I saved a bunch of money!
