Great OEM Replacement parts
Installed, along with an entire front end of Moog parts on my 1996 Impala SS. A little beefier than OEM parts but everything bolts right in. Grease certs can be a bit difficult to install but otherwise a breeze to install.

Much better than stock. 03 S-10
This idler arm is way beefier (stronger) than stock and well worth the little extra money if you plan on it keeping your vehicle for awhile.

Good Quality, but not Great
I would've given this 5 stars, but the grease fitting wouldn't screw in like it was supposed to. I had to chase the threads, so not a major problem, but still, I've never had this come up before. I would still buy Moog products, though. Overall, they are much better than average.

Nice, but could be better.
I purchased shis Idler Arm for my 2005 Silverado 2500HD. It is made in the USA, but like their pitman arms, there is no rubber boot to seal the tapered shaft between the arm and the center link. Instead they include a foam rubber gasket that will more than likely dryrot within a year or two. This part looks totally different than the OEM part, but the form, fit, and function seem to be acceptable. I just wish they'd go the extra mile and put a rubber boot on it!

better steering for the H2
gmc front ends can have a lot of wander. try a new idler and pitman and see if that doesn't clean it up

Moog suspension components
Auto pros tell me that if you are keeping your car more than 3 months, use Moog suspension parts. They really are "the problem solvers." I concur. Steering and suspension is no place to pinch pennies. You want the best, and in car parts today, I think Federal Mogul brands like Moog typically make superior products.

Chevrolet Idler Arm

If you keep the 6 you will need at the least the 6 cylinder brakets for your pump or brakets and pump from 6 cylinder. You might want to insatll a new clutch while you are at it. The frames will not interchange as the van is unibody and the truck has a frame.

the machine then lowered the suspension to full rebound against the upper control arm bumper, the nuts were removed holding the machine heads to the hub faces, and the subframe was transferred out of the machine, flipped upside-down, and the... The rear axle, rear brake pipes, and rear springs (including the front mounting bracket, bushings, and fully-torqued through-bolt) were subassembled (and the diff lube was added) on another feeder line, and that unit was then loaded on the chassis... when the machine was cycled, the machine heads compressed the hubs to design suspension height and positioned the wheel mounting face of the hubs to the correct caster and camber angles, which created gaps between the upper control arm shafts and... The operators stuffed both gaps on each side with shims positioned over the studs, and torqued the nuts on both sides and the bushing bolts through the lower control arm bushings, plus the stabilizer bar bushing and end link bolts. Next, the upper and lower control arms and stabilizer bar were loose-installed, followed by the front springs and hub/spindle/brake caliper assemblies.
