ACDelco D465 Distributor/Ignition Rotor
Exact fit AC/DELCO product. I installed on 5.7 vortec engine. Came with new screws to attach rotor to distributer and new screws to attach distributer cap to distributer. I recommend when installing new rotor to put engine at TDC and make sure rotor aligns with tab on distributer housing for correct cam timing before putting distributer cap back on. Mine was off a few degrees and it was easy to adjust distibuter at that point before reaasembly.

AC Delco quality, good price
Purchased at a fraction of the cost that the local parts houses wanted. I also purchased the distributor cap, both came with new mounting screws, very important on this style distributor.

very easy to change
yep very easy to change. just take out 2 screws (torx bit) take the old one out set the new one on there is put in the new screws Highly recommend changing with when you change your cap

Appears to be working well
I'm an average guy who knows very little about working on cars, so I can't speak to things like performance.When I was getting the oil changed on my 1995 Toyota Corolla they performed a courtesy check on various parts of the car, in the hopes of finding problems for them to fix I'm sure. Well, they said the spark plugs needed replace along with the wires, distributor cap and rotor because they showed signs of arcing. I hadn't experienced any issues with the car, but they wanted a rather huge sum of money to fix it. Plus $10 to change a light bulb *rolls eyes*.Since I never noticed anything unusual with the car I let it go. Fast forward two years and I noticed, rarely, that the car would stutter a little when going up a steep on ramp to the interstate. Searching the internet seamed to suggest this problem is the result of a problem with the electrical system. I remembered the warnings from before, and decided I had actually better get those replaced... so here I...

Great OEM Replacement!
My car was stuttering, a 2002 Trailblazer and replaced my sparkplugs to see if that was the case. Well, it turns out its ignition coil so I ordered this part which was the exact replacement. I replaced my cylinder 6 with this one and now my car is purring again. Yeye, also highly recommend to read check engine light code. The ODB II Reader told me misfire on cylinder 6 so I replaced my cylinder 6 ignition coil, very easy solution that a local car shop charged me $800 last time same thing happened. I want my money back now! Took me literally 10 minutes to swap out the coil ignition.

The cap and rotor of any ignition system must be considered maintenance items. Just like when you change the oil and filter in your car, you should always replace your cap and rotor as a set. MSD makes it easy with these Rynite made distributor cap and rotor replacement kits. The correct rotor is already matched to the correct cap for you. Better than OEM.
Great replacement for OEM cap and rotor. This one is made of better plastic, and seals to the stock distributor plate better. This keeps moisture from forming inside and causing a hard start situation common to older Chevy trucks. Contacts are better brass and metal and the plugs do not come off as easily. Only marked down because it does not come with screws, you must provide two screws to use this on your truck. These should some with it like other caps.
