Works like a charm
I bought this to replace the third brake light in my GMC Yukon Denali XL that had burned out. I figured it would be hard to replace, NOT A CHANCE it was so simple I did it in 15 minutes, and that included clean up and drinking a beer. snap off one trim piece and remove 2 screws, then unplug the old one and plug the new one in and boom you are done. Sure beats the $300 the dealer wanted to replace this light.

Great product to replace expensive factory original
First light was broken when it arrived but it was promptly replaced. The 3rd brake light on my 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe stopped working about 1 year ago but the only alternative at that time was a factory replacement that cost almost $400. Factory originals have since come down to the $200 price range but this replacement fits perfectly and cost less than $50. While you would expect some difference in quality between a $200 part and a $50 part, it looked the same to me. Replacement is quick and easy, remove two screws, disconnect wiring harness, remove the rubber sheath and reverse steps for installation.

Perfect Fit - Update
The Dorman LED lamp appears to be identical in size/form to the OEM lamp. It was successfully installed in just minutes on a 2005 Tahoe Z71. The lamp came with a wiring assembly that was not needed. The OEM wiring connector fit and latched into the Dorman lamp socket. I will try to remember to update this review after one year in service.Added 1/23/12: the Dorman LED lamp is contuining to work perfectly after 11+ months in service.

This was a very great buy ! It was very cheap compared to other brands. The installation was a breeze, just 3m tape and plug into trailer hook up. These light are also very bright at night. I like the turn singnal fuction that blinks half the bar too. I would recommend the light bar to anyone.

None better for the money

This seems like an obvious improvement and allows the reverse lights to be integrated into the light cluster as opposed to tacked on to the bumper. Alas, shots of the new European Camaro show they're getting better, more fancy LED lights. Most obvious is the addition of connected, LED taillights that look like Saved By The Bell -era sunglasses. There are a few subtle differences between the European and American models of the Camaro.

LED light bulbs are currently on sale in Japan and lighting firms are aiming to promote LED light bulbs that are to replace the 60W traditional light bulbs in 2012. LED ceiling lights use similar tube lights as LED-backlit TVs, hence it would help LED firms to reduce inventories. A recent invesitgation by Digitimes Reseach of the recent LED product prices and trends in the Japan market has revealed that the latest buzz there is the LED ceiling light. The price of LED light bulbs that are to replace the traditional 40W bulbs (the most common in Japan) is around JPY1,000-2,000. LED ceiling lights are more diverse than the traditional incandescent lighting fixtures and relatively thinner. This seems like an obvious improvement and allows the reverse lights to be integrated into the light cluster as opposed to tacked on to the bumper.

Chevy guys are for all things Chevrolet, not GM. GMC is the Sole reason I will not own stock in GM. It devalues Chevrolet and given that the Bowtie would pay dividends, I won't do it. Ford is a far more sound investment for this Chevy guy. I wonder if the "cargo box lights" on either side of the high brake light will be going out of style. Rather than get a flashflight and pan around the bed to find a shovel, I can just flip on the led bed lights, not drain my battery, and find what I need. The Honda Ridgeline truck has cargo light on the inside of the C-pillar. the back window sides as well as some bed lights. Ford has a nicer truck and they should It's NEWER GM is going to one up them with their next redesign then Ford will, then GM will and Dodge will throw some in the fight as well. I'm about over it. Just give me Ford trucks and cars or maybe even Dodge trucks and cars be done with it. I mean all FSP's do the job well Pick the right truck for you and shut up. I got a Silverado cheaper than a comparable Ford I sure don't think Fords are Junk, I did shop them I just didn't see 3 grand more value there. The only ones not trying are the Import brands (not a bash on them they are nice) So get the F*** Over it. a truck is a truck. I've always said I'll only own Peterbilts and Chevrolets but even that may be about to change for me. It may be Peterbilts and Fords next year. For decades I've been a Chevy guy but I'd about hop in a F-150 and do a Mike Rowe commercial today about the Chevy guy switching to Ford's. Most Chevrolet guys I know just wish GM would set us free and go away. Until GMC goes (and Buick goes) thus elevating Chevrolet and making my shares worth a darn, I'm not buying. Further proof Ford gets it and is turning out to be the real trucking company while Chevy just dinks around with half assed efforts and Parts Bin rear brakes that I've had nothing but issues with. Yeah F Series sells more than Ram or Silverado or Sierra but GM Sells more Trucks as a company. My trucks have turned to crap, my cars have turned to crap as well.
