Only place I could find it
Could not find item anywhere locally or figure out exactly what it was. Searched many phrases and lists for the solution to the noise the springs were making when going over bumps. Finally, I noticed a "bushing" located in with the rear leaf springs was missing while changing the shocks. Local auto parts stores could not locate or even comprehend what it was I needed. Then I hit amazon and got it. Item arrived on time and solved the problem.

Easy to install!
You can't ask for anything easier to install. Helped with my sag a with a heavy trailer by a third. It doesn't make your unloaded ride rough. Quiet option better than the clanky non-quiet.

Great Product
The part arrived in under 48 hours. It says it takes a couple of hours to install. That seems about right. It does require drilling and an impact gun helps the process. The instructions were clear and all parts were included. They worked like a dream leveling out my Dodge Dakota. I load a full size motorcycle in the bed and then hook up a camper. My truck rode like it had no additinal weight on it. The price was right, delivery was quick and they worked as well as I could imagine.

I have a long box chevy pickup that I regularly have loaded with heavy items and pulling a trailer. I researched these products to death prior to buying one. I wanted the ability to adjust my truck back to normal ride height regardless of what I was towing. The product absolutely does the job. My 27 ft 5th wheel makes the truck squat a good 6 inches. The airsprings restore the truck to its normal ride height in seconds. My justification for the 4 star rating rather than 5 is that the instructions make this install so black and white, when truly it takes some planning. The suggested install location wasn't going to work because of my 5th wheel brackets. Some easy modifications to my truck (small notch in the cross members that support the bed and the install was perfect. The install tool really does make things fool proof. I suggest attatching the bottom bracket with the install tool in place, then clamping the top bracket into place and drilling, as opossed to marking the...

Works as advertised
Installation was fairly easy on my 1999 Cherokee Classic. Some quick notes:I had to position them in just the right spot so the bolts don't touch or rub on the Jeep when springs fully compressed/uncompressed.Raised the back end slightly to a level looking ride relative to the front.I didn't notice any stiffer ride qualities which I'm happy about.I have a heavy duty 5X8 utility trailer with sides. I've loaded it up to the top with bark, moving boxes, brush, camping gear etc. - nothing super heavy yet - and filled the Jeep with people and two large dogs. The Jeep stays pretty level and under the heaviest loads so far has only sagged to where it was sitting empty before I installed the helper springs.

Hellwig 550 EZ-550 Med duty load leveler (X2 /axle!)
I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma 2WD Prerunner. I purchased 2 boxes (that's 2 pairs /box) of the Hellwig Med Duty leaf spring helpers and applied X2 of these Hellwig 550 EZ-550 Medium Duty Load levelers to each of my trucks axles... fit was perfect for this truck! Installation was fairly easy (hardest part is jacking up truck, I needed two jacks to keep both sides of truck level for install), great directions (anyone can or should be able to do), I took my time for install (semi-retired & not in any hurry) and I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend same! Now that I have this product installed, I enjoy the same quality ride as before unloaded but with a slight improvement in handling related to bumps/dips and cornering will less truck body roll and with a heavy load in my truck &/or towing my 6 X10 cargo trailer fully loaded, I have noticed a huge difference in that the back of my truck does not drop way down as before and I have noticed a big improvement in its...
