Excelllent!!
Quality is as good as OEM (no joke), except it has a drain plug (plug is 17mm)! The drain plug is engineered nicley and should last the life of the pan. If your thinking of buying a drain plug kit, forget it and just buy this. If you already have a deep pan on your 4L60E this will not add any quarts to the fill and will take the standard 5 quart refill.Doorman recommends a certain ACDELCO filter for use with this pan. Although I did used the recommended filter I suspect it is to stop the shallow pan owners from purchasing a shallow pan filter for use with this pan. Any deep pan filter would work with this if you dont want to shell out the 30 bucks for the ACDELCO.Also dont forget to transfer your old pan magnet over to the new one.

Perfect fitment!
I installed this pan on a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer with a 4L60E automatic and the fitment was absolutely perfect. Even though it is deeper than the original pan, it still clears the frame rails so no worries about bottoming out on it.I did however notice it doesn't take a whole lot more fluid than the stock despite being deeper -- this is neither good nor bad.THE PAN DOES NOT COME WITH A GASKETYou will need a FelPro TOS 18663 which is a much better gasket than you will find in any filter kit.Remove and re-install the drain plug before you install the pan because it's way too tight from the factory. It takes a 17mm bolt.Also consider changing your transmission fluid to Valvoline Max Life which seems to work best in this transmission.

Why wasn't this on my vehicle originally???
I can't imagine why GM didn't add this as OEM on transmissions. Well after taking a bath in trans fluid this was a great after thought and is now under the truck for good. Makes changing the fluid great and no more mess!!
