This book covers most of what you possible could need building your own engine with higher power as your main goal.It gives you the possibility to choose from different approaches to each specific hp-goal and also suggestions to overal hp-gains on all BBC-engines.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

This is the best book on the Big Block, most others are too old, this one dates the articles so you know if you are getting new info....I reccommend it

Better than some but barely
This a lot of magazine articles from Hot Rod. Overall I like this book and gave it four stars. I like it better than the HP books "Big-Block Chevy engine buildups". Some interesting information here but not a how to book by any means. Many builds are not documented well enough to reproduce and others are out of price range for your average home builder. I find most builds have been edited way to much and leave me wondering what was used or done to complete the build. If you have not read any magazines and do not know how to use Google it would be helpful to have for the planning stages of a motor you might want to build. However,,,,,,,,,if you are like me and need to have, or study every thing you can get your hands on before jumping into a project, then go for it.

Great, dust boot
These seem very tough. A lot tougher than the stock rubber boots that easily puncture and spill grease on my brake pads. Easy to install and not expensive. I'll be buying more in the future. Especially for the applications that need most protection like tie rods near brake rotors for example..

GOOD PRODUCT
I PUT THESE ON MY 2006 GMC 1500. BY FAR THE BEST PRICE AROUND AND I BELEAVE THEY ARE BETTER THEN OEM. WE WILL HOW MANY MILES I GET OUT OF THEM THOUGH. THE FACTORYSLASTED ABOUT 70 K SO I WONT KNOW UNTILL 140 K.

Nice replacement part
I bought these for my 2005 Silverado 2500HD. I like the steel band around the boot. Time will tell if it serves its purpose. The threaded shaft on these where the outer tie rod threads on is longer than the OEM units. What I did was barely loosen my jamnuts and used that as a gauge to get me in the ball park enough to get it in for an alignment. This part also comes with a small tube of high strength thread locker.
