Great buy-especially for pregnant women!
Before becoming pregnant, I never thought much about the length of the seat belts in my car. However once I hit the 7 1/2 month mark of my pregnancy I found that I could just barely get the seatbelt on and buckled, but it was so tight that it would be dangerous to even try it. Oddly enough, I had no trouble fitting in any other car except for my own, figures I suppose. I came across this item on Amazon and instantly thought that this could be the solution to my problem. For about 20 dollars, I figured it couldn't hurt to try it and hope that it would work. It was delivered when I was about 32 weeks(8 months) along in the pregnancy. My husband installed it in minutes with no problems at all. The instructions were minimal but easy to understand in his opinion. We've had it for a few weeks now and it works great. just what we needed
We bought the seat belt extenders for my cavalier, because for some reason chevy thinks their customers are all size small to medium. The extenders work like they are supposed to which is good, but they don't sit very well with the plastic base of the original part of the seat belt. We have to be careful getting in and out of the car because the extra length gets caught in the car door or worse, we flip the seatbelt hook back in the seat and forget to move it so we end up sitting on it. If it is standing upright in the seat, you will get a painful bruise from it. All in all though it was a good investment.
