Exceptionally great product
Check the internet for a replacement for my vehicle. Found this item which claimed that it would work for my application. Ordered it because of the free shipping and had it installed in my tyre. Check the car manual on how to reprogram the receiver and it worked beautifully. It was a simple replacement and was $100 less than the dealer was charging.

Near-perfect replacement
After removing the original sensor that had failed, I installed this one, using the original wiring/plug. The wiring for the original one seemed a little short, so I installed this one with 1" more cable - you can't do that with the OEM replacement. I chose the Denso over other brands, because that is what the original was. The sensor body is identical to what was removed. This was a fraction of the cost of a ready-to-install sensor, but it was well worth the effort to do a little work. The only criticism is that the shrink-tubing provided to seal the splices seemed to take longer than I expected to shrink down. I used a Bic lighter, as I have done with other shrink tubing. It just seems like it took a long time to tighten up. It's been in a month now, and seems to be working just fine. A note when measuring to cut the original wiring: be sure to mark where all of the ties and clips are, where the harness is...

Best O2 at Best Price Around
I still have yet to find a cheaper place to buy a 4-wire denso O2 sensor than here at Amazon. I never thought I'd be buying car parts on here, but if they want to sell it, I'm happy to buy it. I replaced my Celicas sensor with this universal one in about 15 minutes using a socket I already had. The check engine light I had previously has disappeared & my fuel economy slightly improved. This is the same brand that most japanese manufacturers use as OEM equipment, such as Mazda, Toyota, Nissan. I've used Bosch universals in the past & this one is equivalent, but less expensive than the Bosch 4-wire counterparts.

Customer Review

Work very well
Ordered these sensors for my 98 Vette. These are oem replacements, and I understand that Schrader makes these sensors for GM. I have yet to experience any problems with them. Excellent price on these as well (I have seen dealers ask up to $150 each for the same exact same part).

Perfect replacement, great price!
I purchased this sensor as a replacement for an inoperative OEM sensor on my 1999 Corvette. I just had it installed and it's working perfectly. I saved over $60.00 compared to OEM from dealership, and received it quicker than I could have from dealership, without having to make the thirty mile roundtrip after it arrived.

Chevrolet Sensor

The automaker strengthened the structural elements that protect the battery, added a new sensor to the coolant system reservoir to monitor the coolant level and installed a tamper-resistant bracket to the coolant reservoir to prevent overfilling. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has concluded its safety defect investigation into the Chevy Volt . It opened the case on November 25 after reports of the Volt catching on fire following severe crashes. GM has decided to re-engineer the battery coolant system and make structural enhancements to Volt to protect the battery in the event of a crash. The original fires were reported after lab tests on the Volt's battery pack resulted in an electric fire days later.

NHTSA has closed their investigation into the Chevrolet Volt’s fire risk, stating that the agency “does not believe that Chevy Volts or other electric vehicles pose a greater risk of fire than gasoline-powered vehicles. Starting in February, GM will modify the Volt’s battery pack structure by reinforcing the steel surrounding the battery and adding a sensor that can monitor coolant leaks (as shown in the diagram above). Based on the available data, NHTSA does not believe that Chevy Volts or other electric vehicles pose a greater risk of fire than gasoline-powered vehicles. However, as the reports released in conjunction with the closure of the investigation today indicate, fires following NHTSA crash tests of the vehicle and its battery components—and the innovative nature of this emerging technology—led the agency... The agency expects this guidance will help inform the ongoing work by NFPA, DOE, and vehicle manufacturers to educate the emergency response community, law enforcement officers, and others about electric vehicles. NHTSA remains unaware of any real-world crashes that have resulted in a battery-related fire involving the Chevy Volt or any other electric vehicle.

Since the ground for the sensor is provided by the computer, is it possible that since the wires were pulled loose, maybe power hit the ground during one of the key cycles while I was cranking on it and fried the computer before I knew it was... When I pulled the crank sensor out, the bolt was loose, and the top half of the sensor pretty much fell out when I took the bolt out, leaving the bottom half in the hole. I seriously doubt a rat could pull hard enough to loosen the bolt, pull the wires out and break the sensor in half. When I have 12v applied, and move a screwdriver across the front of it, it drop to 0v, and then back to 12v as soon as I take it away, so I would guess the sensor is working alright. Well, I got a new sensor, made sure the wiring was correct, but still no fire. The sensor has power and ground, but it seems like it is putting out 8 volts all the time on the output side. So I got to thinking, and thought about the crank sensor. I pulled the cap and rotor to make sure they were alright, a little corroded, but looked alright after I cleaned it up. I then put a timing light on it to see if there was spark while it was cranking, of course, nothing. Anyway, I found a wiring diagram (since they were pulled out I had no idea which one was which) and reconnected all the wires.

The top-of-the-line Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang began to trounce the then-best Camaro SS, General Motors plucked the LSA engine from the skin-crackingly fast Cadillac CTS-V, resurrected the ZL1 badge for an all-new "Camaro ZL1" model (along with... Interest in the Camaro waned to such a degree that in 2002, General Motors killed the product line (including its sister car, the Pontiac Firebird), and concentrated on other ways of reclaiming the affections of a youth market largely enamored of... And incongruously, after General Motors started selling the all-new Chevy Camaro in 2009, you could buy Bumblebee the car. In the movie, a nettlesome teenager (played by Shia LaBeouf) is befriended by a robot from space named "Bumblebee" who, because of perfectly logical plotting having nothing to do with marketing tie-ins or Bay's love of a brand that once paid him a... ) And it made a hero out of a car, or at least a hero out of a robot who wore the Camaro like a tuxedo.
