I bought this to replace the switch in my 02 Monte Carlo. This fits perfectly....installation is very simple (if you already know how to remove your door panel). At night when it lights up, the color is slightly off from the factory interior lights but that's not an issue for me. Top to learn more

Great replacement
The product was exactly what I needed to replace the window switch in my 2001 Monte Carlo. I had to verify with the Dorman product page to ensure it was the right one for my vehicle. It was also a quick and easy install. I found a video on YouTube with instructions. Beginning to end it took about 30 minutes to go from the bad switch in the door to the new one. I don't know why you would buy the alternative. I ripped out my PAC SWI jack because it wouldn't work right. Connected the simple three wires on this unit, turned on the ignition, and the unit programmed itself in about 30 seconds. And it works great! I have all my buttons working on my Chevy truck steering wheel. When I had the PAC SWI Jack installed, it took the installer quite a while to program it, and then I lost two of my steering wheel buttons because he said it just wont work. Now I have everything and it only took me about ten minutes to install the whole thing. And I have never done this before. The website instructions were perfect and easy. Top to learn more
