Tires look great, have 2 sidewall choices, Dull black and a glossy black side..make sure they mount them right or you can tell. They ride smooth, for a thick ply tire they are kinda mushy but it really smooths out the ride of the truck. Overall tread is not that deep compared to other all terrains. Great dry/wet traction. Snow isn't the best but they are on a truck. All trucks suck on snow unless you have a lot of weight in the bed. I'd buy them again. Top to learn more

First I would like to say that for those of you suggesting I get "real tire chains"... I have 2 pair that I've managed to get onto my tires exactly... never. If you'd like to buy 2 pair of 17" snow chains cheap just leave me a message, you can have 'em. "Real tire chains" might be great for some people, but if I can't get them on and off my car quickly and easily, they are useless to me.I live 1400 feet up a 2 and a half mile dirt/gravel road that stays ice and snow covered for weeks after there is no snow anywhere else in our county. I am a small business owner, so if I can't get to work, I don't get paid, simple as that. Excellent Engineering, but did not fit my wheels
I couldn't wait to get these, given Seattle's unexpected week of ice. The chains fit several tire sizes with clear instructions for removing 0 - 4 sizing clips for each size (all four for my 225/50-R17). These are as easy on/off as this video shows (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opugSM6xs58). No need to get knees wet, or lay on the ground.The chains ride only on the tread and not on the back of the wheel/tire, requiring no inside clearance. The thin cable chains add only about 10mm to the top clearance. The ice grips are aggressive and the chain angles will provide lateral slide resistance.The set came with the tools needed to remove the clips and mount the lugs. The clips are put on from the factory with something like "Lock-tite". Recommend a 7mm socket to replace the wrench and your own good set of metric Allen wrenches (3mm).Only problem was the lug locking mechanism was too shallow to fit my deeply recessed lugs on the standard wheels...

Works as advertised, but check your lugnut/bolt size
The K-22s work just as advertised. It takes a little extra effort the first time or two, but once you get used to the system, these are the easiest chains to put on you'll ever own. The traction seems VERY good, and the chains tighten around the tire perfectly. It almost feels like they are part of the tire (which means them off sometimes takes a little effort - just be sure you have some gloves you don't mind getting a bit dirty)I drive a car with 21mm lugnuts. These ship with 17 and 19mm fittings, so be sure that if you have a car with larger lugnuts you get the adapter. (Prius owners, this means you). They are available from [...] if Amazon is sold out.I haven't had these for very long, but they seem to be very high quality. The warranty is 1 year, but I would expect them to last much longer. And yes, the price is a little high, but it is a lot less than the cost of damage rims and certainly a lot less than internal damage to your cars braking mechanisms or...

Gorilla brand wheel locks have a design that allows you to put 60lbs of tourgue on each wheel without striping out the locking feature...OEM wheel locks use a weaker locking feature...that tend to strip out either during installation or as time goes by and repeated wheel/ tire changes...Gorilla locks use the whole socket feature to install...you cannot strip these out...even after repeated use..[...] Top to learn more

Works great! Installed with a almost mint condition Si Wheels on my 91 CIVIC EX w/ almost new tires. These are better because it's harder to slide a pry into the wheel to break the bolt. Also, impossible to use a vice grip to lock and turn the lock because it's way in there. Great product! Short but just enough to fit
I was looking for wheel locks for my Honda Accord. After removing an existing lug nut and did some research, I realize Honda is using "ball seat" or "radius seat" lug nuts. Wheel lock for this type of seat seems not commonly available in retail parts stores like Autozone or Pepboys (most common one is cone seat). You want to have the correct seat to ensure enough area of the seat is in contact between the wheel and the nuts.This wheel lock has the correct seat (for my Honda alloy wheel), confirmed by tightening one to my wheel, then removing it to observe that there are wide enough contact marks on the seat itself (not just one line/ring, but a band of a few mm wide).At first the nuts look too short, but having contact marks at the seat confirms that it is actually long enough to have a tight and secure contact with the wheel itself.The color matches with my old lug nuts (more shiny of course). This is the best price I have found.My wife love these tires and after speaking with a lot of my friends and my personal experience driving in the snow.I am convinced that these are the Best overall and all seasonal tires.These tires have the snow flake in the mountain peak, certifying that they meet Canada's strict requirement as a certified snow tire.These tires were 50% worn and still performed better than new snow studded tires studs.It must be the tread pattern and compound.What ever it was, I had to remove the studded snow tires and put them on my Tahoe. lol.I bought two new tires here and they ROCK!My wife is extremely happy and feels much safer with these tires.
