The RC Nitro Speeders are designed so all parts can fit inside your pocket and go wherever you go. The remote controller doubles as a charging deck, consolidating two separate functions in a single efficient tool. The remote also serves as a carrying case, featuring a small, clear compartment that easily holds the Nitro Speeder. This way, you can carry all the tools you need in one simple piece that fits comfortably in your hand.
High Speeds and Precise Driving
With their small size and microchip technology, Nitro Speeders can make super-precise, high-speed turns and feature responsive control in all directions. The high-power, rechargeable battery dodges any unnecessary weight, and two 30,000-rpm motors supply power to each set of wheels. Super-size tires increase the Nitro Speeders' traction, propelling the vehicle forward, in reverse, and around sharp turns at a scale speed of 0 to 600 miles per hour.
Promotes Coordination and Strategy
Our testers were impressed by the acceleration and speed the Nitro Speeders could reach, and had fun learning how to use the controllers to make swift, sharp turns on hard indoor surfaces. Testers found that at first the extreme speeds of the Nitro Speeders often caused the vehicles to flip over. However, after reading the quick tips in the provided instructions and some practice with the controller, the drivers' coordination improved and Nitro Speeders became easier to drive.
The Nitro Speeders come in five different varieties: Chevy Camaro Car, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Hammer Head Vehicle, Ken Block Ford Fiesta Rally Car, Mustang Car, and Team Hot Wheels Mustang Car. Collect 'em all to stage races and work on your racing strategy!

It's ok.
Ok so I'll be honest. I didn't buy this for my kids. I don't even have kids. I bought it for myself. I am in the military and currently serving in Afghanistan. We have a fairly large office over here with fake hardwood floors so I thought this would be kind of cool to drive around the office and help lighten the mood for my soldiers. I read a good review on a tech site so I bought it. From my experience it doesn't work that well. Our floors keep a bit of dust on them so maybe that is part of the issue, but the car seems to spin out way too much. I think if it had rubber tires instead of plastic it would work much better. You have to be careful with the throttle or it will just spin in circles, it doesn't seem to track straight most of the time and I would say you only get about 20ft. with the controller and then you lose connection. I am obviously not the prime market for this, but I'm not impressed.

It's the size that counts.... and the speed!
What's most impressive about this tiny little package (charger/carry-case/control panel, WITH car can all fit in a shirt pocket!) is the speed and (with a little practice) the control one has OVER that speeding car. To take the above ratings in order: The car is so small and maneuverable that you can send it almost anywhere for all kinds of fun racing, even solo. While "educationally" it doesn't rate high in math, say, the hand/eye coordination training for younger players can be most impressive. Further, while, as I say, the control factor is awesome ONCE YOU'VE MASTERED IT, the amount of wall-hitting, etc. that you incur while learning, shows the mighty mite to be most durable, indeed! Finally, a word about the "age" factor: While the package recommends the toy for kids 8+, I can attest to the fact that it passes the "I'm Christian James and I'll be 6 on Groudhog Day" factor, just fine, thank you!

Fun! Wish it had taller rubber tires, though.
This is a great toy to give to kids when you're running errands or standing around talking to grownups and being boring, because it travels easily and can recharge while you're in the car. It's extremely speedy, and even though I rammed it into lots of stuff while learning to control it smoothly, it's still running along happily.The charge seems to last for about a half hour of play, and everyone who has played with it has had fun (except for one napping cat who was offended at being woken by it). It is definitely best on very smooth surfaces, like hallways, or flooring. It worked on one type of sidewalk, but not another (marginally less smooth) type of sidewalk.My only criticism of this very fun toy is that I wish the tires had been designed better. They are plastic, not rubber, so the car spins out easily. And the tires are so small that you can't possibly run the car on many outdoor surfaces, even rather normal-seeming sidewalks, as the height of the car is...
