Extremely simple parts swap!
Simple job! Takes about 45 minutes and all you need is 3 tools: 7mm socket, 10mm socket and a screwdriver. Pry off the mirror panel, pull out the door electrical switch plate and unplug the switch, pull off the inner handle trim, remove the 2x 7mm socket head screws holding the arm rest (one in the switch plate access and one under the armrest), pull up on the armrest and the entire door panel will pull off but disconnect the speaker cable at the front and the light at at the rear before you move it too far. Now remove the 10mm bolt that holds the inner door handle and pop the clip to remove the actuator rod and slide the assembly out. Now carefully peel off the plastic door liner without damaging it. You do need it! Raise the window all the way up, tape it in place with duct tape (non-residue type means no cleanup), loosen the front and rear window clamps a couple of turns, unplug the motor, remove the 6x 10mm regulator bolts and remove the old regulator. Excellent Window Regulator
I installed both left and right window regulators in a 2001 Silverado. These parts were well-built, arrived in two days with free shipping, and were easier to install than I had expected. The limited lifetime warranty on these Dorman regulators makes them an excellent choice, especially at this low price.I was hesitant to try it 'cause I couldn't even figure out how to remove the door trim pad to have access for removal and re-installation of the regulator. Awesome product
Had a GM dealer give me a quote to have driver side rear passenger window regulator replaced (2002 Suburban). Decided to purhcase this replacement after they told me it would be over $500. I agree with other reviewers that the longest part is removing the door panel and liner (1hour). Once regulator is exposed, loosen the 2 window grippers, disconnect connector, remove 4 mouning bolts and its out (20 min). EASY. Great Dorman product.

Perfect Fit!
This was cheaper than an online auto store. I installed this into a 1999 Toyota Sienna. It took no more than 10 minutes to mount the motor onto the lift.Do not worry about tapping the mounting holes with a tap & die set. Just use your pre-existing screws and start to thread it prior to mounting it on the lift.This saved me a lot of money over my local auto store and works just a good as OEM.Here is a quick guide to replace it on a 1st Gen Toyota Sienna -- Remove the screw inside the door handel cover.- Use a flat head screw driver stick it just above the lock "button" at 12 o'clock gently pry up/down, do the same at the 6 o'clock position.- Remove the door arm rest by sticking a flat head screw driver in the crack and pry gently up/down. Once that is off remove the 2 black screws.- Remove the entire door pannel. Tape the end of a flat head screwdriver and slide it along the door frame and plastic pannel. gently...

Perfect Fit!
I have a 2000 Toyota Corolla. This part when in really easy. The only difficult part was I had to tap out where the three screws went. Ended up changing the screw size all together. Took 30mins to install.

Be prepared to tap the bolt holes....
This is the second Dorman power window motor I have purchased, the first was for my wifes 2000 Toyota Camry. Both Dorman power window motors shared a common problem, the mounting bolts will not start because when the motor was manufactured they crimped the blind nuts and compromised the threads. The bolts will sieze and the blind nut turns. Be prepared to tap the threads before you install a Dorman motor. Luckily I already had a tap on hand or I would've had to make a trip to find one. Secondly, on this perticular motor the wiring harness that was provided was wired backwards, down was up and up was down. It is a two wire connector and I had to extract the connectors with a paper clip (no easy task) and reverse them. Lucky me, I caught it before I reassembled the door. Other than those two items the motor seems to be alright. The free shipping was slow but I guess you get what you pay for.

Lift motor with all the special fasteners, great package.
Dorman has a great package except for better instructions for removal of the factory rivets. The special fasteners in the kit is a must. Other aftermarket I have bought did not have what's needed to make this installtion a professional job. Not sure on the life of this motor yet. We will see. The switches turned out to be defective also. I recommend changing them at the same time.

Works well, quick delivery, reasonable price!!
This motor was a direct replacement for the rear driver's side "Original Equipment" motor that was seldom used, but nevertheless failed. It remains to be seen if this one will be more reliable, but it appears to be of high quality. Delivery was reasonably fast and the price was reasonable especially when compared to an O.E.M. unit from the dealer.

Better Quality than the Original
Installed this motor on my GMC Yukon XL driver side. Works better than the original motor and still going strong.Recommend Dorman all Automobile window motor replacement. Lower Price was the reason I purchased. Quality is the reason I wait for 1 year to review this product.

electric window motor replacement
Easy enough to do in about an hour. I watched a youtube video and then just followed the instructions. Took the assembly out of the door, installed the motor, lubed the rails with a spray lithium lubricant and then reassembled. when I tested it there was a grating sound. I probably let the cable jump on the spindle. Adjusted the cable and reinstalled it and it is as good as new. I even took the other door apart to lube it too. The 2nd install and the 2nd door took more than an hour. Nice replacement part that worked perfectly.
