Big and Sturdy, Beautiful
It took a long time to get this item when I selected free shipping -- about 2.5 weeks. But it did arrive before the specified arrival date. This is the largest, tallest free-standing TV mount I could find anywhere, with at least nine inches between the two glass shelves. That distance is important for across-the-top air flow if you need fans to cool your components. It does create a commanding presence in the room.When you get the box on your porch, you will be in for a treat! But, do some preparation first. It can be assembled by one person. Haul it into the house. Now, go get the vaccuum cleaner! Don't even open the box without it at hand. The styrofoam will float. A thousand tiny grains everywhere, so vaccuum everything off as you pull it out. Else, you will find styrofoam bits forever. Initially, the directions are basically simple and extra connectors are provided so you absolutely will be putting this thing together. Every piece is numbered in sequence of assembly so...

Awesome
The stand arrived ahead of schedule. The 133 lbs is no joke, this thing is heavy. I appreciate the weight though; that means stability. No wobbles, no shakes. This thing is rock solid quality. It took me a little longer than the other reviewers to assemble it, only because I had to stop and vacuum all the little styrofoam pellets. Best advice, have your vacuum cleaner nearby before you even open the package. The package took a beating during shipping and almost all of the styrofoam was crumbled.I don't think the pictures here do this thing justice. I was awestruck by its beauty as I was assembling it, and got very excited as it started to look like a TV stand. I still stop and stare at it as I pass through the room.For supporting a 52" Samsung, this does the job extremely well. I chose the second from the highest mounting point for a 52" LCD TV, hope that helps.

Not just a stand...THE STAND
This stand has solved several problems I had, and 1 potential problem I was going to face. I have been wanting to mount my display for awhile now and just haven't been able to being in the apartment I'm in. The Sync stand solved that for me, next my receiver is pretty beefy and in the previous stand it just wasn't getting the clearance it needed for proper air flow. Again, fixed with this stand. Next like I said I'm in an apartment so I have to try to maximize the space I have and with my old stand I had to place my center channel in the upper component compartment and place my Blu Ray and DVR in awkward positions, this solved that for me. Providing me with enough room to get a new media storage unit that makes the entire room look cleaner and better. As well as allowing me to get a slightly larger sub, and I will now have room for the 65VT30 without fear of not having room. Great and inexpensive.
Pros- Fairly easy to set up, solid, inexpensive, looks greatCons- Shows dust very fastI have a 52" LCD on the bracket, Center channel on top shelf, DVR and PS3 on middle, and Denon AVR-988 on the bottom. It holds it all like a champ. My friends keep asking where I got it and how much. Great purchase.

A nice stand
I got mine at COSTCO, not Amazon.It looks great, matches the Black of my 50" Panasonic Plasma great along with my Left and Right speakers and stands. The Swivel mount works good. Makes it a little easier when you need to get behind your HDTV. Not a huge need to swivel with a Plasma since the viewing angle is so wide.It's also quite a heavy stand!!! It holds a lot also. A Negative is because it's Gloss Black, it does collect a lot of dust easily.Hanging my Plasma on the wall wasn't a option for me. I also didn't want my Plasma sitting on top of a Glass Shelf. I've seen pictures of what happens when the shelf shatters even though the Rated weight rating was much higher then the HDTV and yet still shattered. I like the look of it up in the Air. The center support blocks the view of any wires, which for me is the power cable and a single HDMI cable. It also allowed me to place the center speaker right under the center of my HDTV with it up in the Air like...

Read This Review First
I was ready to buy this stand from Amazon and guess what? I ran into it at Wal-mart for $159. It comes in adifferent box labeled Home Trends, the glass shelves are clear / not black but everything else is the same.The instructions are labeled Z-line - yep, it's the real thing. All the other positive things said in otherreviews are true. BTW - it handled my new 65 inch Sharp LCD just fine. Only assembly problem was "bottom pad"screw holes - needed to run a drill bit through as the screw holes didn't exactly line up. That's my storyand I'm stickin to it.

Highly Recommend! If you have a LCD or Plasma, purchase this stand!
For starters: I do not own this stand but my grandmother purchased it. I personally assembled it for her as well. It comes with detailed instructions so installation is a breeze!This stand looks gorgeous, the safety shelves look good and the stand is an all-around sturdy stand. The stand features slots for easy cable-management. The TV mount can move side to side which is very convenient. The stand can support up to 60" LCD/Plasma HDTV, which is amazing! The shelves are sturdy enough to safely place all your components.This stand has NO FLAWS in my opinion. I seen other reviews and I haven't seen a single bad review for this stand. It's sturdy, gorgeous, and is a safe/easy way to display your HDTV and components. What more can I say? I WILL be purchasing one of these bad boys when I buy my 1st HDTV.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I could not be more happy with this product.This is the centerpiece of a 5.1 surround sound HDTV system which I am creating in a modest sized bedroom. The included instructions indicate that this product will hold "most LCD/Plasma TVs up to 60" with a maximum weight of up to 150 lbs.".This product is very well designed and very well built. The assembly process is non-trivial, but flawless, extremely well organized and quite idiot proof. The only tool not included for assembly is a Phillips head screw driver. The instructions call for two people to assemble it. But, I managed the assembly by myself.The bottom shelf is 36.5 inches wide. The middle shelf, constrained by bracing hardware, is effectively just over 34.5 inches wide. Most A/V components are 17 inches wide or less. So, the bottom two shelves easily allow for A/V components to be placed side by side (provided each device has at least one side which is lacking in ventilation vents). You would...

Contempory Look, Many options.
I was looking for a stand to mount my new 52" Sony LCD, and this item from Amazon looked sharp and had a good price.A tip of my hat to the reviewer who assembled this in 1 hour - it took me closer to 3, but admittedly I am no handyman.It did take two people to mount the TV once the stand was mostly assembled, but I guess with some imagination a person could do it alone. I would not want to risk damaging my new $1500 TV.Since I know my limitations, I took my time, read the directions carefully, with very few missteps. The extra hardware included would make it possible to mount virtually any kind of flat panel TV; LCD or plasma. I've seen it advertised for a mount for a 46" TV, but my 52" looks great, and this stand is heavy and solid enough to support a TV several inches larger.The metal and fiberboard top is pained a shiny black, and the finish really does look like it could be on a piano. Glass Shelves have a lot of deflection
The pruduct looks nice with nothing on the shelves, solidly supports the TV, and was not diffucult to put together. My problem with the product is the two glass shelves. Both deflect (sag) at the center of the shelf. This occures slightly under their own weight, but set a cable box on one and stereo reciever on another as I have, and this deflection is obvious and can be seen across the room. Each shelf is rated for 65 lb, I would guess that I have less than 10 lb on each and am experiencing this problem. It would be great with heavier duty shelves.

Nice LCD Stand
Mounted a Samsung 46 LCD on this stand, fits nice. The stand is great looking, well built and sturdy for the TV. It is a slim design, not cheaply made, for 279 dollars on Amazon it is a great deal. It perfectly augments the beautiful look of the Samsung.I was going to purchase a Bello for around the same price but picked this Z-Line design because it looked far more sturdy for a 1500 dollar LCD TV, I'm happy I decided on this Z-Line stand.
